Where Community Needs Guide Every Act of Service

We transform lives by connecting global volunteers with underserved women and youth in Jamaica through culturally grounded, dignity-centered service experiences.

Inspire and Serve is a nongovernmental organization (NGO) operating as a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) and a registered Jamaican charity. We are recognized with Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency for excellence in nonprofit management, hold NGO CSW/NY Associate Membership, and actively leverage our UN global networks and international partnerships to advocate for the rights, protection, and advancement of women, girls, and young boys while facilitating impactful community-based programs.

We are dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity to vulnerable women, children, and families through purpose-driven service and strategic collaboration. With cultivated trusted partnerships like Texans on Mission, On Mission Network, Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), and alliances that include Operation Blessing, World Vision, and the City of Montego Bay, we are bridgebuilders to disadvantaged and underserved boys, girls, and women who could use a little kindness, encouragement, and support.

With just a small part of your travel time, you can change lives by reading to children, leading a fun activity, conducting STEAM programs, or empowering women with skills and encouragement. This heartwarming exchange turns visitors into family and moments into lifelong memories.

What Makes Us Different

Inspire and Serve isn’t just a nonprofit—it’s a movement grounded in purpose, cultural fluency, and community trust. With a full-time presence in the U.S. and in Jamaica, our team, composed of Certified Jamaica Specialists, TPDCo Team Jamaica-certified, globally experienced professionals with Jamaican roots, and grassroots local advocates, co-creates every service experience with care. Together, we ensure that every act of giving is community-led, dignity-centered, and deeply personal—building a legacy of sustainable impact for women and children.

We are grounded in authenticity and serve with integrity, providing Care that listens. Service that responds.

HEARTS FOR JAMAICA INITIATIVE

Voices After the Storm: Serving Communities and Children

Hurricane Melissa has left a profound impact on Jamaica, disrupting every aspect of daily life and highlighting the vulnerability of communities across the island. Many households are:

  • No access to clean drinking water
  • No or sporadic access to power
  • Loss of homes, appliances, clothing, critical documents, and  supplies
  • Limited or no transportation - dilapidated roads; blocked community access
  • Experiencing food shortages - damaged farms, closed markets
  • Living in unsanitary conditions - slow or no garbage removal services

Widespread power outages and unstable phone and internet services have cut off families from vital communication and news updates. Countless Jamaicans are unable to return to work, and businesses—especially small, local ones—face costly setbacks or complete shutdowns. In the midst of these hardships, our Hurricane Melissa Relief for Kids and Teens & Hard-hit Communities campaign is focused on helping Jamaica’s most precious population—its children—by bringing comfort, love, and support to those most affected, including children's home and hard-hit communities in western Jamaica.
